Dr. Krause is a leading specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. Dr. Krause completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, IL, and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She is a highly regarded scholar on infertility, having presented her work at national and international conferences She is also a published author and editor on fertility topics, including surgical advances to treat infertility and uterine factors that affect a successful pregnancy.
Dr. Krause is an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Investigations and other local professional organizations. She is a past chair of the Kentucky chapter for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
In addition to fertility, Dr. Krause has special expertise in treating polycystic ovarian syndrome, uterine defects, issues with menstruation and complications from menopause.
A native of Germany, Dr. Krause decided to make Louisville her second home after meeting her husband, Tony, here. During her free time, Dr. Krause enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors, traveling and cooking German dishes. In addition to cultivating families, she also is an accomplished gardener, growing her own vegetables in the summer.
